Food and service were awesome. We ordered the Entraña, salmon, and chicken plates. For appetizers, we had the empanadas, which were delicious, and the calamar chamuscado, which was not my favorite--too much olive oil for my liking. Delicious! Definitely coming back when we are around.

We got a reservation last minute for the Argentinian game, the ambience was great with two big TVs for the game, the server (Guido) was super attentive and gave us time to decide without any rush, we got the anchovies bruschetta to start and they were amazing, super balance with the goat cheese, for main dish we order the rib eye and it was juice, flavorful and cook to perfection, the dessert was also delicious. We were highly satisfied with everything at this place.

My friend lives around the area and we have always talked about eating here but it was always full. The place fills up pretty quick. So I recommend having a reservation for a table, we didn't have one and sat at the bar. Nevertheless he a great experience the place is cozy and perfect for catching up with friend while enjoying a good meal. We started with two cocktails, Fifi and Fernando. For appetizers the Empanada de Carne and the Chorizo Criollo y Morcilla. We also had the Camarones con ensalada de Palmitos which they graciously split into two servings for us. For the entree we ordered the Costilla Al Malbec con Chipa Guazu and papas. I must say the food was amazing the chorizo and morcilla were very flavorful. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the palm hearts really complemented it. The empanada was not what we expected but we still enjoyed it. To wrap up the night we ordered the Budín de pan tibio as per the servers suggestion and it did not disappoint! The Dulce de leche gelato was really good. There were so many things we wanted to try on the menu. We would definitely be making a come back.

Argentine food is a fantastic blend of cultures and Porteño pulls it off brilliantly. If you're looking for something new that's also somehow familiar, give this wonderful place a try. The service was wonderful. Dishes were flavorful. Portions were large. Cocktails were unique. Try a fernet and Coke. You'll swear you're back in Mar del Plata.

The food here was so good, it really made me think about flying over to Argentina for more haha! My friend and I got the Lomito Completo (steak sandwich) and the Costilla Al Malbec (short rib). The short rib and the steak were well-cooked and tender - both are so delicious! I also got a cocktail, which was nice albeit a bit sweet. The restaurant itself has a cute, cozy feel. Overall, it was a good experience with great food!

Food (5/5): Empanadas were good and flavorful . The only improvemengs would be that the ham and cheese one barely had any bam and some of the outer breading of the empanadas was hard. Additionally, we ordered the risotto and the lomito completo. The risotto was delicious with nice creaminess and the lomito completo had really nicely toasted bread with delicious combination of steak, ham, cheese, egg, and toppings. Also got the pear cake with dulce de leche ice cream which was really good. It was the right amount of sweetness and the textures between the bread, fruit, and ice cream was perfect. Overall all the dishes were excellent and well made. Venue (5/5): Beautiful restaurant with nice Spanish themed music. You feel and relaxed and at peace in an upscale setting. The large screen with a fireplace playing was a nice touch. Service (5/5): Checked up on us frequently including water refills. Super impressed at their level of attentiveness. Servers were very helpful and professional. Initially they asked us to sit at a small two person table even though the restaurant was empty but when we asked to sit at a larger table so we can more comfortably fit our items and food, they accommodated. As a heads up, they will automatically charge 20% gratuity even though we were a group of 2. Normally, not a fan of this policy but the service was so good that I couldn't complain.
